For almost half a century, Gorenje has been expanding its international sales network on all continents. Despite the less than favourable market conditions related to the global economy, the Gorenje Group has managed to maintain its position among the five largest domestic appliance manufacturers in Europe, and today 84% of its production is exported. Gorenje d.d. is engaged in the manufacture and sale of domestic appliances. In 2013, 10,639 employees generated EUR 1.24 billion of revenue, while in 2014 the Group boosted its investment into research and development by 0.4 percentage point to 2.9% of the core activity revenue, and expanded its offer with new generation appliances, developed in-house.
